A senior employee of a multinational PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has been confirmed dead at Aga Khan hospital after jumping from the 17th floor of the company's Delta Corner offices in Westlands, Nairobi.

 The man identified as Stephen Mumbo, the Assistant Manager of Executory and Forensic Investigations at the company is reported to have jumped from the towering premises on Friday, October, 12 at around 10am.

There was however no suicide note recovered at his office. According to Muchiri, Mumbo succumbed to injuries at Aga Khan where he had been urgently taken to. Unconfirmed reports indicated that Mumbo's deadly decision could have been ignited by a domestic row with his wife whom they had together struggled to get a baby.

Other sources refused to rule out work pressure among reasons that could have pushed Mumbo to the edge. “It is with great sadness that we confirm that there was a tragic incident at the PwC Kenya offices today (Friday) morning where we lost one of our colleagues, Stephen Mumbo. Steve fell off 17th floor early this morning. Investigations are ongoing by the relevant authorities,” Regional Senior Partner Peter Ngahu said in the statement.
